1Benjamin engendra Béla, son premier-né, Asbel le second, Ahara le troisième,

2Nohaa, le quatrième et Rapha le cinquième. —

3Les fils de Béla furent : Addar, Géra, Abiud,

4Abisué, Naaman, Ahoé,

5Géra, Séphuphan, et Huram.

6Voici les fils d’Ahod : — ils étaient chefs des familles qui habitaient Gabaa, et ils les déportèrent à Manahath — :

7Naaman, Achia et Géra ; c’est lui qui les déporta, et il engendra Oza et Ahiud.

8Saharaïm eut des enfants au pays de Moab, après qu’il eut renvoyé ses femmes Husim et Bara.

9Il eut de Hodès, sa femme : Jobab, Sébia, Mosa, Molchom,

10Jéhus, Séchia et Marma ; ce sont là ses fils, chefs de familles.

11Il eut de Husim : Abitob et Elphaal. —

12Fils d’Elphaal : Héber, Misaam et Samad, qui bâtit Ono, Lod et les villes de sa dépendance.

13Baria et Sama, chefs des familles qui habitaient Aïalon, mirent en fuite les habitants de Geth.

14Ahio, Sésac, Jérimoth,

15Zabadia, Arod, Héder,

16Michaël, Jespha et Joha étaient fils de Baria. —

17Zabadia, Mosollam, Hézéci, Héber,

18Jésamari, Jezlia et Jobab étaient fils d’Elphaal. —

19Jacim, Zéchri, Zabdi,

20Elioénaï, Séléthaï, Eliel,

21Adaïa, Baraïa et Samarath étaient fils de Séméï. —

22Jesphan, Héber, Eliel,

23Abdon, Zéchri, Hanan,

24Hanania, Elam, Anathothia,

25Jephdaïa et Phanuel étaient fils de Sésac. —

26Samsari, Sohoria, Otholia,

27Jersia, Elia et Zéchri, étaient fils de Jéroham. —

28Ce sont là des chefs de famille, des chefs selon leurs générations ; ils habitaient à Jérusalem.

29Le père de Gabaon habitait à Gabaon, et le nom de sa femme était Maacha.

30Son fils premier-né, Abdon, puis Sur, Cis, Baal, Nadab,

31Gédor, Ahio et Zacher.

32Macelloth engendra Samaa. Ils habitèrent aussi près de leurs frères à Jérusalem, avec leurs frères. —

33Ner engendra Cis ; Cis engendra Saül ; Saül engendra Jonathan, Melchisua, Abinadab et Esbaal. —

34Fils de Jonathan : Méribbaal ; Méribbaal engendra Micha. —

35Fils de Micha : Phiton, Mélech, Tharaa et Achaz.

36Achaz engendra Joada ; Joada engendra Alamath, Azmoth et Zamri ; Zamri engendra Mosa.

37Mosa engendra Banaa ; Rapha, son fils ; Elasa, son fils ; Asel, son fils.

38Asel eut six fils, dont voici les noms : Ezricam, Bocru, Ismaël, Saria, Obdia et Hanan : tous ceux-là étaient fils d’Asel. —

39Fils d’Esec, son frère : Ulam, son premier-né, Jéhus le deuxième, et Eliphalet le troisième.

40Les fils d’Ulam furent de vaillants hommes, tirant de l’arc, et ils eurent beaucoup de fils, et de petits-fils, cent cinquante. Tous ceux-là sont des fils de Benjamin.

8Porro Saharaim genuit in regione Moab, postquam dimisit Husim et Bara uxores suas.

9Genuit autem de Hodes uxore sua Jobab, et Sebia, et Mosa, et Molchom,

10Jehus quoque, et Sechia, et Marma: hi sunt filii ejus principes in familiis suis.

11Mehusim vero genuit Abitob et Elphaal.

31Gedor quoque, et Ahio, et Zacher, et Macelloth:

32et Macelloth genuit Samaa: habitaveruntque ex adverso fratrum suorum in Jerusalem cum fratribus suis.

33Ner autem genuit Cis, et Cis genuit Saul. Porro Saul genuit Jonathan, et Melchisua, et Abinadab, et Esbaal.

34Filius autem Jonathan, Meribbaal: et Meribbaal genuit Micha.

35Filii Micha, Phithon, et Melech, et Tharaa, et Ahaz.

36Et Ahaz genuit Joada, et Joada genuit Alamath, et Azmoth, et Zamri: porro Zamri genuit Mosa,

37et Mosa genuit Banaa, cujus filius fuit Rapha, de quo ortus est Elasa, qui genuit Asel.

38Porro Asel sex filii fuerunt his nominibus: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, et Hanan: omnes hi filii Asel.

39Filii autem Esec fratris ejus, Ulam primogenitus, et Jehus secundus, et Eliphalet tertius.

40Fueruntque filii Ulam viri robustissimi, et magno robore tendentes arcum: et multos habentes filios ac nepotes, usque ad centum quinquaginta. Omnes hi filii Benjamin.

28These were the chief fathers, and heads of their families who dwelt in Jerusalem.

29And at Gabaon dwelt Abigabaon, and the name of his wife was Maacha:

30And his firstborn son Abdon, and Sur, and Cia, and Baal, and Nadab,

31And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher, and Macelloth:

32And Macelloth beget Samaa: and they dwelt over against their brethren in Jerusalem with their brethren.

33And Ner beget Cia, and Cia beget Saul. And Saul begot Jonathan and Melchisua, and Abinadab, and Esbaal.

34And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begot Micha.

35And the sons of Micha were Phithon, and Melech, and Tharaa, and Ahaz.

36And Ahaz beget Joada: and Joada beget Alamath, and Azmoth, and Zamri: and Zamri beget Mesa,

37And Mesa beget Banaa, whose son was Rapha, of whom was born Elasa, who beget Asel.

38And Asel had six sons whose names were Ezricam, Bochru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Asel.

39And the sons of Esec, his brother, were Ulam the firstborn, and Jehus the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40And the sons of Ulam were most valiant men, and archers of great strength: and they had many sons and grandsons, even to a hundred and fifty. All these were children of Benjamin.
