Isaïe 12

1Et tu diras en ce jour-là : Je te loue, Yahweh, car tu étais irrité, mais ta colère s’est détournée et tu me consoles.

2Voici le Dieu de ma délivrance ; j’ai confiance et je ne crains pas ; car ma force et ma louange c’est Yahweh, Yahweh ; il a été pour moi le salut. —

3Vous puiserez des eaux avec joie aux sources du salut, et vous direz en ce jour-là :

4Louez Yahweh, invoquez son nom, publiez parmi les peuples ses grandes œuvres, proclamez que son nom est élevé.

5Chantez Yahweh, car il a fait des choses magnifiques ; qu’on le sache dans toute la terre !

6Pousse des cris, tressaille d’allégresse, habitante de Sion, car le Saint d’Israël est grand au milieu de toi !

1[Et dices in die illa: Confitebor tibi, Domine, quoniam iratus es mihi; conversus est furor tuus, et consolatus es me.

2Ecce Deus salvator meus; fiducialiter agam, et non timebo: quia fortitudo mea et laus mea Dominus, et factus est mihi in salutem.

3Haurietis aquas in gaudio de fontibus salvatoris.

4Et dicetis in die illa: Confitemini Domino et invocate nomen ejus; notas facite in populis adinventiones ejus; mementote quoniam excelsum est nomen ejus.

5Cantate Domino, quoniam magnifice fecit; annuntiate hoc in universa terra.

6Exsulta et lauda, habitatio Sion, quia magnus in medio tui Sanctus Israël.]

1And thou shalt say in that day: I will give thanks to thee, O Lord, for thou wast angry with me: thy wrath is turned away, and thou hast comforted me.

2Behold, God is my saviour, I will deal confidently, and will not fear: O because the Lord is my strength, and my praise, and he is become my salvation.

3You shall draw waters with joy out of the saviour’s fountains:

4And you shall say in that day: Praise ye the Lord, and call upon his name: make his works known among the people: remember that his name is high.

5Sing ye to the Lord, for he hath done great things: shew this forth in all the earth.

6Rejoice, and praise, O thou habitation of Sion: for great is he that is in the midst of thee, the Holy One of Israel.
