Neemia 10

1Quei, che sottoscrissero furono Nehemia Athersatha, figliuolo di Hachelai, e Sedecia,

2Saraia, Azaria, Jeremia,

3Pheshur, Amaria, Melchia,

4Hattus, Sebenia, Melluch,

5Harem, Merimuth, Obdia,

6Daniel, Genthon, Baruch,

7Mosollam, Abia, Miamin,

8Maazia, Belgai, Semeia: questi eran sacerdoti.

9Leviti, Josuè figliuolo di Azania, Bennui de' figliuoli di Henadad, Cedmihel.

10E i loro fratelli Sebenia, Hodaia, Celila, Phalaia, Hanan,

11Micha, Rohob, Hasebia,

12Zachur, Serebia, Sabania,

13Odaia, Bani, Baninu.

14Capi del popolo, Pharos, Phahath-moab, Elam, Zethu, Bani,

15Bonni, Azgad, Bebai,

16Adonia, Begoai, Adin,

17Ater, Hezecia, Azur,

18Odaia, Hasum, Besai,

19Hareph, Anathoth, Nebai,

20Megphia, Mosollam, Hazir,

21Mesizabel, Sadoc, Jeddua,

28Per tutto il rimanente del popolo, pe' sacerdoti, Leviti, portinai, e cantori, Nathinei, e per tutti gli altri, i quali separandosi dalle altre nazioni erano venuti alla legge di Dio, pelle loro mogli, e figliuoli, e figliuole,

29Tutti quelli, che eran capaci d'intendere, promettevano pe' loro fratelli, e i principali tra loro venivano a pro mettere, e giurare di camminar nella legge data da Dio per mezzo di Mosè servo di Dio, di adempire, e osservare tutti quanti i comandamenti del Signore Dio nostro, e li suoi precetti, e le cerimonie,

30E di non dare le nostre figliuole ad uomini d'altre nazioni, e di non fare sposare le loro figlie ai nostri figliuoli.

31Oltre a ciò venendo i Gentili a portare robbe da vendere, e qualunque sorta di merci ne' giorni di sabato, noi non ne compreremo da essi nel sabato, o in altro giorno santificato. E rispetteremo il settimo anno, e non esigeremo crediti di veruna sorta.

32E avremo per legge di dare ogni anno la terza parte di un siclo per servigio della casa del nostro Dio,

33Pei pani della proposizione, pel sagrifizio perpetuo, pell'olocausto perpetuo de' sabati, delle calende, e delle feste solenni, pell'ostie pacifiche, e per lo peccato: affinchè Dio si plachi con Israele, e per tutte le bisogne della casa del nostro Dio.

34E parimente fissammo, tirando a sorte, la quantità delle legna, che dovean offerirsi da' Sacerdoti, da' Leviti, e dal popolo, ed essere portate alla casa del nostro Dio da ciascuna famiglia de' padri nostri anno per anno, affinchè bruciassero sull'altare del Signore Dio nostro, come nella legge di Mosè sta scritto.

35E promettemmo di portare ogni anno alla casa del nostro Dio le primizie della nostra terra, e le primizie di tutti i frutti d'ogni pianta:

36E i primogeniti de' nostri figliuoli e del nostro bestiame, conforme sta scritto nella legge, e i primogeniti de' nostri buoi, e delle nostre pecore, per offerirli nella casa del nostro Dio ai sacerdoti, che sono di funzione nella casa del nostro Dio.

37E le primizie de' nostri cibi, e di quel, che beviamo: e porteremo ai sacerdoti nel tesoro del nostro Dio frutti di tutte le piante, e delle vigne, e degli uliveti, e la decima della nostra terra ai Leviti, gli stessi Leviti riceveranno in tutte le città la decima delle nostre fatiche.

38E i sacerdoti figliuoli d'Aarone avranno parte insieme co' Leviti alle decime de' Leviti; e i Leviti offriranno la decima parte della loro decima nella casa del nostro Dio, perchè sia depositata nella casa del tesoro.

39Perocché al tesoro porteranno i figliuoli d'Israele, e i figliuoli di Levi le primizie del grano, vino, ed olio: e ivi staranno i vasi santificati, e i sacerdoti, e cantori, e portinaj, e ministri; e noi non abbandoneremo la casa del nostro Dio.

28Et reliqui de populo, sacerdotes, Levitæ, janitores, et cantores, Nathinæi, et omnes qui se separaverunt de populis terrarum ad legem Dei, uxores eorum, filii eorum, et filiæ eorum,

29omnes qui poterant sapere spondentes pro fratribus suis, optimates eorum, et qui veniebant ad pollicendum et jurandum ut ambularent in lege Dei, quam dederat in manu Moysi servi Dei: ut facerent et custodirent universa mandata Domini Dei nostri, et judicia ejus et cæremonias ejus:

30et ut non daremus filias nostras populo terræ, et filias eorum non acciperemus filiis nostris.

31Populi quoque terræ, qui important venalia, et omnia ad usum, per diem sabbati ut vendant, non accipiemus ab eis in sabbato et in die sanctificato. Et dimittemus annum septimum, et exactionem universæ manus.

32Et statuemus super nos præcepta, ut demus tertiam partem sicli per annum ad opus domus Dei nostri,

33ad panes propositionis, et ad sacrificium sempiternum, et in holocaustum sempiternum in sabbatis, in calendis, in solemnitatibus, et in sanctificatis, et pro peccato: ut exoretur pro Israël, et in omnem usum domus Dei nostri.

34Sortes ergo misimus super oblationem lignorum inter sacerdotes, et Levitas, et populum, ut inferrentur in domum Dei nostri per domos patrum nostrorum, per tempora, a temporibus anni usque ad annum: ut arderent super altare Domini Dei nostri, sicut scriptum est in lege Moysi:

35et ut afferremus primogenita terræ nostræ, et primitiva universi fructus omnis ligni, ab anno in annum, in domo Domini:

36et primitiva filiorum nostrorum et pecorum nostrorum, sicut scriptum est in lege, et primitiva boum nostrorum et ovium nostrarum, ut offerrentur in domo Dei nostri, sacerdotibus qui ministrant in domo Dei nostri:

37et primitias ciborum nostrorum, et libaminum nostrorum, et poma omnis ligni, vindemiæ quoque et olei, afferemus sacerdotibus ad gazophylacium Dei nostri, et decimam partem terræ nostræ Levitis. Ipsi Levitæ decimas accipient ex omnibus civitatibus operum nostrorum.

38Erit autem sacerdos filius Aaron cum Levitis in decimis Levitarum, et Levitæ offerent decimam partem decimæ suæ in domo Dei nostri ad gazophylacium in domum thesauri.

39Ad gazophylacium enim deportabunt filii Israël, et filii Levi, primitias frumenti, vini, et olei: et ibi erunt vasa sanctificata, et sacerdotes, et cantores, et janitores, et ministri: et non dimittemus domum Dei nostri.

9And the Levites, Josue the son of Azanias, Bennui of the sons of Henadad. Cedmihel,

10And their brethren, Sebenia, Oduia, Celita, Phalaia, Hanan,

11Micha, Rohob, Hasebia,

12Zachur, Serebia, Sabania,

13Odaia, Bani, Baninu.

14The heads of the people, Pharos, Phahath Moab, Elam, Zethu, Bani,

15Bonni, Azgad, Bebai,

16Adonia, Begoai, Adin,

17Ater, Hezecia, Azur,

18Odaia, Hasum, Besai,

19Hareph, Anathoth, Nebai,

20Megphias, Mosollam, Hazir,

21Mesizabel, Sadoc, Jeddua,

22Pheltia, Hanan, Anaia,

23Osee, Hanania, Hasub,

24Alohes, Phalea, Sobec,

25Rehum, Hasebna, Maasia,

28And the rest of the people, priests, Levites, porters, and singing men, Nathinites, and all that had separated themselves from the people of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters.

29All that could understand promising for their brethren, with their chief men, and they came to promise, and swear that they would walk in the law of God, which he gave in the hand of Moses the servant of God, that they would do and keep all the commandments of the Lord our God, and his judgments and his ceremonies.

30And that we would not give our daughters to the people of the land, not take their daughters for our sons.

31And if the people of the land bring in things to sell, or any things for use, to sell them on the sabbath day, that we would not buy them of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day. And that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every hand.

32And we made ordinances for ourselves, to give the third part of a side every year for the work of the house of our God,

33For the leaves of proposition, and for the continual sacrifice, and for a continual holocaust on the sabbaths, on the new moons, on the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offering: that atonement might be made for Israel, and for every use of the house of our God.

34And we cast lots among the priests, and the Levites, and the people for the offering of wood, that it might be brought into the house of our God by the houses of our fathers at set times, from year to year: to burn upon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the law of Moses:

35And that we would bring the first fruits of our land, and the firstfruits of all fruit of every tree, from year to year, in the house of our Lord.

36And the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our oxen, and of our sheep, to be offered in the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God.

37And that we would bring the firstfruits of our meats, and of our libations, and the fruit of every tree, of the vintage also and of oil to the priests, to the storehouse of our God, and the tithes of our ground to the Levites. The Levites also shall receive the tithes of our works out of all the cities.

38And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites in the tithes of the Levites, and the Levites shall offer the tithe of their tithes in the house of our God, to the storeroom into the treasure house.

39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall carry to the treasury the firstfruits of corn, of wine, and of oil: and the sanctified vessels shall be there, and the priests, and the singing men, and the porters, and ministers, and we will not forsake the house of our God.
