1Davide teve estes filhos, que lhe nasceram em Hebron: o primogênito Amnon, de Aquinoam Jezraelita; o segundo, Daniel, de Abigail do Carmelo;

2o terceiro, Absalão, filho de Maaca, filha de Tolmal, rei de Gessur: o quarto, Adonias, filho de Agit;

3o quinto, Safatias, filho de Abital; o sexto, Jetraão, filho de Egla, sua mulher.

4Nasceram-lhe, portanto, seis filhos em Hebron, onde ele reinou durante sete anos e seis meses. Em Jerusalém reinou durante trinta e três anos.

5Em Jerusalém nasceram-lhe estes fllhos: Simaa, Sobab, Natan e Salomão, todos quatro de Betsabé, filha de Amiel.

6Teve mais Jebaar, Elisama,

7Elifalet, Noge, Nefeg, Jafia,

8e também Elisama, Eliada, Elifelet: nove ao todo.

9Todos estes foram os filhos de Davide, sem contar os filhos das mulheres de segunda ordem. Tiveram uma irmã chamada Tamar.

10O filho de Salomão foi Roboão, cujo filho Abia gerou Asa. Deste nasceu Josafat,

11pai de Jorão; Jorão gerou Ocozias, do qual nasceu Joás;

12Amasias, filho deste, gerou Azarias; Joatão, filho de Azarias,

13gerou a Acaz, pai de Ezequias, de quem nasceu Manassés;

14Manassés gerou Amon, pai de Josias.

15Os filhos de Josias foram: Joanan, o primogênito, o segundo Joaquim, o terceiro Sedecias, o quarto Selum.

16De Joaquim nasceram Jeconias e Sedecias.

17Filhos de Jeconias foram: Asir, Salatiel,

18Melquiron, Fadaia, Seneser, Jacemin, Sama e Nadabia.

19De Fadaia nasceram Zorobabel e Semei. Zorobabel gerou Mosolão, Hananias, e Salomit, irmã deles,

20e também estes cinco: Hasaban, Ool, Baraquias, Hasadias e Josahesed.

21Hananias teve por filho a Faltlas, pai de Jeseias, cujo filho foi Rafaia; o filho deste foi Arnan, do qual nasceu Obdia, cujo filho foi Secenlas.

22O filho de Secenias foi Semeia, do qual foram filhos Hatus, Jegaal, Baria, Naaria e Safat, em número de seis (contando o pai).

23Os filhos de Naaria foram três: Elioenai, Ezequias e Ezricão.

24Os filhos de Elloenai foram sete: Odulia, Eliasub, Feleia, Acub, Joanan, Dalaia e Anani.

4Sex ergo nati sunt ei in Hebron, ubi regnavit septem annis et sex mensibus. Triginta autem et tribus annis regnavit in Jerusalem.

5Porro in Jerusalem nati sunt ei filii, Simmaa, et Sobab, et Nathan, et Salomon, quatuor de Bethsabee filia Ammiel:

6Jebaar quoque et Elisama,

7et Eliphaleth, et Noge, et Nepheg, et Japhia,

8necnon Elisama, et Eliada, et Elipheleth, novem:

9omnes hi, filii David absque filiis concubinarum: habueruntque sororem Thamar.

10Filius autem Salomonis, Roboam: cujus Abia filius genuit Asa. De hoc quoque natus est Josaphat,

11pater Joram: qui Joram genuit Ochoziam, ex quo ortus est Joas:

12et hujus Amasias filius genuit Azariam. Porro Azariæ filius Joatham

13procreavit Achaz patrem Ezechiæ, de quo natus est Manasses.

14Sed et Manasses genuit Amon patrem Josiæ.

15Filii autem Josiæ fuerunt: primogenitus Johanan, secundus Joakim, tertius Sedecias, quartus Sellum.

16De Joakim natus est Jechonias, et Sedecias.

17Filii Jechoniæ fuerunt: Asir, Salathiel,

18Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser, et Jecemia, Sama, et Nadabia.

19De Phadaia orti sunt Zorobabel et Semei. Zorobabel genuit Mosollam, Hananiam, et Salomith sororem eorum:

20Hasaban quoque, et Ohol, et Barachian, et Hasadian, Josabhesed, quinque.

21Filius autem Hananiæ, Phaltias pater Jeseiæ, cujus filius Raphaia: hujus quoque filius, Arnan, de quo natus est Obdia, cujus filius fuit Sechenias.

22Filius Secheniæ, Semeia: cujus filii Hattus, et Jegaal, et Baria, et Naaria, et Saphat, sex numero.

23Filius Naariæ, Elioënai, et Ezechias, et Ezricam, tres.

24Filii Elioënai, Oduia, et Eliasub, et Pheleia, et Accub, et Johanan, et Dalaia, et Anani, septem.

9All these the sons of David, beside the sons of the concubines: and they had a sister Thamar.

10And Solomon’s son was Roboam: whose son Abia beget Asa. And his son was Josaphat,

11The father of Joram: and Joram begot Ochozias, of whom was born Joas:

12And his son Amasias begot Azarias. And Joathan the son of Azarias

13Beget Achaz, the father of Ezechias, of whom was born Manasses.

14And Manasses beget Amen the father of Josias.

15And the sons of Josias were, the firstborn Johanan, the second Joakim, the third Sedecias, the fourth Sellum.

16Of Joakim was born Jechonias, and Sedecias.

17The sons of Jechonias were Asir, Salathiel,

18Melchiram, Phadaia, Senneser and Jecemia, Sama, and Nadabia.

19Of Phadaia were born Zorobabel and Semei. Zorobabel beget Mosollam, Hananias, and Salomith their sister:

20Hasaba also, and Ohol, and Barachias, and Hasadias, Josabhesed, five.

21And the son of Hananias was Phaltias the father of Jeseias, whose son was Raphaia. And his son was Arnan, of whom was born Obdia, whose son was Sechenias.

22The son of Sechenias, was Semeia, whose sons were Hattus, and Jegaal, and Baria, and Naaria, and Saphat, six in number.

23The sons of Naaria, Elioenai, and Ezechias, and Ezricam, three.

24The sons of Elioenai, Oduia, and Eliasub, and Pheleia, and Accub, and Johanan, and Dalaia, and Anani, seven.
