1He aquí los hijos de Israel: Rubén, Simeón, Leví, Judá, Isacar, Zabulón,

2Dan, José, Benjamín, Neftalí, Gad y Aser.

3Hijos de Judá: Er, Onán y Selá. Estos tres le nacieron de la hija de Súa, la cananea. Er, primogénito de Judá, era malo a los ojos de Yahvé, que le quitó la vida.

4Tamar, nuera de Judá, le dio Fares y Zara. Todos los hijos de Judá fueron cinco.

5Hijos de Fares: Hesrón y Hamul.

6Hijos de Zara: Zimrí, Etán, Hernán, Calcol y Dará. En total, cinco.

7Hijos de Carmí: Acar, que perturbó a Israel por cuanto pecó contra el anatema.

8Hijo de Etán: Azarías.

9Hijos que le nacieron a Hesrón: Jerameel, Ram y Calubai.

10Ram engendró a Aminadab; Aminadab engendró a Naasón, príncipe de los hijos de Judá.

11Naasón engendró a Salmá; Salmá engendró a Booz;

12Booz engendró a Obed; Obed engendró a Isaí.

13Isaí engendró a Eliab, su primogénito; a Abinadab, el segundo; a Simeá, el tercero;

14a Natanael, el cuarto; a Radai, el quinto;

15a Osem, el sexto; a David, el séptimo.

16Las hermanas de ellos fueron Sarvia y Abigail. Hijos de Sarvia: Abisai, Joab y Asael, tres.

17Abigail dio a luz a Amasá. El padre de Amasá fue Jéter, ismaelita.

18Caleb, hijo de Hesrón, tuvo hijos de Asubá, su mujer, y también de Yeriot. He aquí los hijos de (Asubá): Jéser, Sobab y Ardón.

19Murió Asubá, y Caleb tomó por mujer a Efrata, de la cual le nació Hur.

20Hur engendró a Urí, y Urí engendró a Bezalel.

21Después llegó Hesrón a la hija de Maquir, padre de Galaad, y la tomó por mujer, teniendo él ya sesenta años; de ella le nació Segub.

22Segub engendró a Jaír, el cual tuvo veinte y tres ciudades en la tierra de Galaad.

23Y quitó a los gesureos y sirios las villas de Jaír, juntamente con Kenat y sus aldeas; sesenta ciudades. Todos estos eran hijos de Maquir, padre de Galaad.

24Después de la muerte de Hesrón en Caleb-Efrata, Abiá, mujer de Hesrón, dio a luz a Ashur, padre de Tecoa.

25Los hijos de Jerameel, primogénito de Hesrón, fueron: Ram, el primogénito, y Buná, Orem, Osem y Ahías.

26Jerameel tuvo otra mujer, que se llamaba Atará, la cual fue madre de Onam.

27Los hijos de Ram, primogénito de Jerameel: Maas, Jamín y Équer.

28Los hijos de Onam fueron Samai y Jada; los hijos de Samai: Nadab y Abisur.

29La mujer de Abisur se llamaba Abihaíl, la cual dio a luz a Ahbán y a Molid.

30Hijos de Nadab: Séled y Apaim. Séled murió sin hijos.

31Hijo de Apaim: Isí. Hijo de Isí: Sesán. Hijo de Sesán: Ahlai.

32Hijos de Jadá, hermano de Samai: Jéter y Jonatán. Jéter murió sin hijos.

33Hijos de Jonatán: Félet y Zaza. Estos son los hijos de Jerameel.

34Sesán no tuvo hijos, sino hijas; y tenía un siervo egipcio que se llamaba Jarhá.

35Y dio Sesán una hija suya a Jarhá, su siervo, por mujer, la cual dio a luz a Atai.

36Atai engendró a Natán; Natán engendró a Zabad;

37Zabad engendró a Eflal; Eflal engendró a Obed;

38Obed engendró a Jehú; Jehú engendró a Azarías;

39Azarías engendró a Heles; Heles engendró a Elasá:

40Elasá engendró a Sismai; Sismai engendró a Sallum;

41Sallum engendró a Jecamías, y Jecamías engendró a Elisamá.

42Hijos de Caleb, hermano de Jerameel: Mesa, su primogénito, el cual fue padre de Cif, y los hijos de Maresá, padre de Hebrón.

43Hijos de Hebrón: Coré, Tapúa, Réquem y Sema.

44Sema engendró a Ráham, padre de Jorqueam; Réquem engendró a Samai.

45Hijo de Samai: Maón; y Maón fue padre de Betsur.

46Efá, mujer secundaria de Caleb, dio a luz a Harán, Mosá y Gasés. Harán engendró a Gases.

47Hijos de Jahadai: Régem, Jotam, Gesan, Félet, Efá y Sáaf.

48Maacá, mujer secundaria de Caleb, dio a luz a Séber y Tirhaná.

49Dio a luz también a Sáaf, padre de Madmaná, y a Sevá, padre de Macbená y padre de Gabaá. Hija de Caleb fue Acsá.

50Estos fueron los hijos de Caleb, hijo de Hur, primogénito de Efrata: Sobal, padre de Kiryatyearim;

51Salmá, padre de Betlehem; Haref, padre de Betgader.

52Sobal, padre de Kiryatyearim, tuvo estos hijos: Haroé y Hasihammenuhot.

53Las familias de Kiryatyearim fueron: los Itreos, los Puteos, los Sumateos y los Misraítas. De ellos salieron los Soratitas y los Estaolitas.

54Hijos de Salmá: Betlehem y los Netofateos, Atarot-Bet-Joab y Hasihammanahti, sarateo.

55Las familias de los escribas que habitaban en Jabés, fueron los Tirateos, los Simateos y los Sucateos. Estos son los Cineos, descendientes de Hamat, padre de la casa de Recab.

15sextum Asom, septimum David.

16Quorum sorores fuerunt Sarvia et Abigail. Filii Sarviæ: Abisai, Joab, et Asaël, tres.

17Abigail autem genuit Amasa, cujus pater fuit Jether Ismahelites.

18Caleb vero filius Hesron accepit uxorem nomine Azuba, de qua genuit Jerioth: fueruntque filii ejus Jaser, et Sobab, et Ardon.

19Cumque mortua fuisset Azuba, accepit uxorem Caleb Ephratha, quæ peperit ei Hur.

20Porro Hur genuit Uri, et Uri genuit Bezeleel.

21Post hæc ingressus est Hesron ad filiam Machir patris Galaad, et accepit eam cum esset annorum sexaginta: quæ peperit ei Segub.

22Sed et Segub genuit Jair, et possedit viginti tres civitates in terra Galaad.

23Cepitque Gessur et Aram oppida Jair, et Canath, et viculos ejus sexaginta civitatum: omnes isti filii Machir patris Galaad.

24Cum autem mortuus esset Hesron, ingressus est Caleb ad Ephratha. Habuit quoque Hesron uxorem Abia, quæ peperit ei Assur patrem Thecuæ.

25Nati sunt autem filii Jerameel primogeniti Hesron, Ram primogenitus ejus, et Buna, et Aram, et Asom, et Achia.

26Duxit quoque uxorem alteram Jerameel, nomine Atara, quæ fuit mater Onam.

27Sed et filii Ram primogeniti Jerameel fuerunt Moos, Jamin, et Achar.

28Onam autem habuit filios Semei et Jada. Filii autem Semei: Nadab et Abisur.

29Nomen vero uxoris Abisur, Abihail, quæ peperit ei Ahobban et Molid.

30Filii autem Nadab fuerunt Saled et Apphaim. Mortuus est autem Saled absque liberis.

31Filius vero Apphaim, Jesi: qui Jesi genuit Sesan. Porro Sesan genuit Oholai.

32Filii autem Jada fratris Semei: Jether, et Jonathan. Sed et Jether mortuus est absque liberis.

33Porro Jonathan genuit Phaleth, et Ziza. Isti fuerunt filii Jerameel.

34Sesan autem non habuit filios, sed filias: et servum ægyptium nomine Jeraa.

35Deditque ei filiam suam uxorem: quæ peperit ei Ethei.

36Ethei autem genuit Nathan, et Nathan genuit Zabad.

37Zabad quoque genuit Ophlal, et Ophlal genuit Obed.

38Obed genuit Jehu, Jehu genuit Azariam,

39Azarias genuit Helles, et Helles genuit Elasa.

40Elasa genuit Sisamoi, Sisamoi genuit Sellum,

41Sellum genuit Icamiam, Icamia autem genuit Elisama.

42Filii autem Caleb fratris Jerameel: Mesa primogenitus ejus; ipse est pater Ziph: et filii Maresa patris Hebron.

43Porro filii Hebron, Core, et Taphua, et Recem, et Samma.

44Samma autem genuit Raham, patrem Jercaam, et Recem genuit Sammai.

45Filius Sammai, Maon: et Maon pater Bethsur.

49Genuit autem Saaph pater Madmena Sue, patrem Machbena et patrem Gabaa. Filia vero Caleb fuit Achsa.

50Hi erant filii Caleb, filii Hur primogeniti Ephratha, Sobal pater Cariathiarim.

51Salma pater Bethlehem, Hariph pater Bethgader.

52Fuerunt autem filii Sobal patris Cariathiarim, qui videbat dimidium requietionum.

53Et de cognatione Cariathiarim, Jethrei, et Aphuthei, et Semathei, et Maserei. Ex his egressi sunt Saraitæ, et Esthaolitæ.

54Filii Salma, Bethlehem, et Netophathi, coronæ domus Joab, et dimidium requietionis Sarai:

55cognationes quoque scribarum habitantium in Jabes, canentes atque resonantes, et in tabernaculis commorantes. Hi sunt Cinæi, qui venerunt de Calore patris domus Rechab.
