1 Crónicas 24

1He aquí las clases de los hijos de Aarón: Hijos de Aarón: Nadab, Abiú, Eleazar e Itamar.

2Nadab y Abiú murieron antes que su padre, sin tener hijos; y ejercieron las funciones sacerdotales Eleazar e Itamar.

3David, con Sadoc, de los hijos de Eleazar, y Ahimelec, de los hijos de Itamar, los clasificó según sus oficios que tenían en su ministerio.

4Se hallaron entre los hijos de Eleazar más cabezas que entre los hijos de Itamar; por lo que se hizo entre ellos esta división: para los hijos de Eleazar, diez y seis cabezas de casas paternas; y para los hijos de Itamar, ocho casas paternas.

5Los repartieron por suertes, a los unos como a los otros; porque había príncipes del Santuario y príncipes de Dios, tanto entre los hijos de Eleazar como entre los hijos de Itamar.

6Semeías, hijo de Natanael, escriba, uno de los levitas, los inscribió en presencia del rey y de los príncipes, y en presencia del sacerdote Sadoc, y de Ahimelec, hijo de Abiatar, y de las cabezas de las casas paternas de los sacerdotes y de los levitas. Se sacaba alternando una casa paterna para Eleazar, y otra para Itamar.

7Tocó la primera suerte a Joiarib; la segunda a Jedayá;

8la tercera a Harim; la cuarta a Seorim;

9la quinta a Malquías; la sexta a Mijamín;

10la séptima a Hacoz; la octava a Abía;

11la nona a Jesúa; la décima a Secanías;

12la undécima a Eliasib; la duodécima a Jaquim,

13la decimotercera a Hupá; la decimocuarta a Jesbeab;

14la decimoquinta a Bilgá; la decimosexta a Imer;

15la decimoséptima a Hesir, la decimoctava a Hapisés;

16la decimonona a Petayá; la vigésima a Ezequiel;

17la vigésimo prima a Jaquín; la vigesimosegunda a Gamul;

18la vigesimotercera a Delayá; la vigesimocuarta a Maacías.

19Esta fue la distribución según su ministerio, para que entrasen en la Casa de Yahvé conforme al reglamento que Yahvé, el Dios de Israel, había prescrito por medio de Aarón, padre de ellos.

20He aquí (los jefes) de los hijos restantes de Leví: De los hijos de Amran: Subael; de los hijos de Subael: Jehedías.

21De Rehabías, de los hijos de Rehabías era jefe Isías;

22de los Isharitas: Selomot; de los hijos de Selomot: Jáhat.

23Hijos (de Hebrón): Jerías, Amarías, el segundo; Jahasiel, el tercero; Jecamaam, el cuarto.

24Hijos de Uciel: Micá; de los hijos de Micá: Samir.

25Hermano de Mica: Isías; de los hijos de Isías: Zacarías.

26Hijos de Merarí: Mahlí y Musí; hijos de Jaacías: su hijo.

27Hijos de Merarí por Jaacías, su hijo: Soham, Zacur e Ibrí.

28De Mahlí: Eleazar, que no tuvo hijos.

29De Cis: los hijos de Cis: Jerameel.

30Hijos de Musí: Mahlí, Eder y Jerimot. Estos son los hijos de los levitas, según sus casas paternas.

31También estos echaron suertes de la misma manera que sus hermanos, los hijos de Aarón, en presencia del rey David, Sadoc y Ahimelec, y en presencia de las cabezas de las casas paternas de los sacerdotes y de los levitas; siendo tratados de la misma manera los jefes de familia como sus hermanos menores.

1Porro filiis Aaron hæ partitiones erant. Filii Aaron: Nadab, et Abiu, et Eleazar, et Ithamar.

2Mortui sunt autem Nadab et Abiu ante patrem suum absque liberis: sacerdotioque functus est Eleazar, et Ithamar.

3Et divisit eos David, id est, Sadoc de filiis Eleazari, et Ahimelech de filiis Ithamar, secundum vices suas et ministerium.

4Inventique sunt multo plures filii Eleazar in principibus viris, quam filii Ithamar. Divisit autem eis, hoc est, filiis Eleazar, principes per familias sedecim: et filiis Ithamar per familias et domos suas octo.

5Porro divisit utrasque inter se familias sortibus: erant enim principes sanctuarii, et principes Dei, tam de filiis Eleazar quam de filiis Ithamar.

6Descripsitque eos Semeias filius Nathanaël scriba Levites, coram rege et principibus, et Sadoc sacerdote, et Ahimelech filio Abiathar, principibus quoque familiarum sacerdotalium, et Leviticarum: unam domum, quæ ceteris præerat, Eleazar: et alteram domum, quæ sub se habebat ceteros, Ithamar.

7Exivit autem sors prima Jojarib, secunda Jedei,

8tertia Harim, quarta Seorim,

9quinta Melchia, sexta Maiman,

10septima Accos, octava Abia,

11nona Jesua, decima Sechenia,

12undecima Eliasib, duodecima Jacim,

13tertiadecima Hoppha, decimaquarta Isbaab,

14decimaquinta Belga, decimasexta Emmer,

15decimaseptima Hezir, decimaoctava Aphses,

16decimanona Pheteia, vigesima Hezechiel,

17vigesima prima Jachin, vigesima secunda Gamul,

18vigesima tertia Dalaiau, vigesima quarta Maaziau.

19Hæ vices eorum secundum ministeria sua, ut ingrediantur domum Domini, et juxta ritum suum sub manu Aaron patris eorum, sicut præceperat Dominus Deus Israël.

20Porro filiorum Levi qui reliqui fuerant, de filiis Amram erat Subaël, et de filiis Subaël, Jehedeia.

21De filiis quoque Rohobiæ, princeps Jesias.

22Isaari vero filius Salemoth, filiusque Salemoth Jahath:

23filiusque ejus Jeriau primus, Amarias secundus, Jahaziel tertius, Jecmaan quartus.

24Filius Oziel, Micha: filius Micha, Samir.

26Filii Merari: Moholi, et Musi. Filius Oziau: Benno.

27Filius quoque Merari: Oziau, et Soam, et Zachur, et Hebri.

28Porro Moholi filius, Eleazar, qui non habebat liberos.

29Filius vero Cis, Jerameel.

30Filii Musi: Moholi, Eder et Jerimoth: isti filii Levi secundum domos familiarum suarum.

31Miseruntque et ipsi sortes contra fratres suos filios Aaron coram David rege, et Sadoc, et Ahimelech, et principibus familiarum sacerdotalium et Leviticarum, tam majores quam minores: omnes sors æqualiter dividebat.

1Now these were the divisions of the sons of Aaron: The sons of Aaron: Nadab, and Abiu, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.

2But Nadab and Abiu died before their father, and had no children: so Eleazar, and Ithamar did the office of the priesthood.

3And David distributed them, that is, Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their courses and ministry.

4And there were found many more of the sons of Eleazar among the principal men, than of the sons of Ithamar. And he divided them so, that there were of the sons of Eleazar, sixteen chief men by their families: and of the sons of Ithamar eight by their families and houses.

5And he divided both the families one with the other by lot: for there were princes of the sanctuary, and princes of God, both of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.

6And Semeias the son of Nathanael the scribe a Levite, wrote them down before the king and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and the princes also of the priestly and Levitical families: one house, which was over the rest, of Eleazar: and another house, which had the rest under it, of Ithamar.

7Now the first lot came forth to Joiarib, the second to Jedei,

8The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim,

9The fifth to Melchia, the sixth to Maiman,

10The seventh to Accos, the eighth to Abia,

11The ninth to Jesua, the tenth to Sechenia,

12The eleventh to Eliasib, the twelfth to Jacim,

13The thirteenth to Hoppha, the fourteenth to Isbaab,

14The fifteenth to Belga, the sixteenth to Emmer,

15The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses,

16The nineteenth to Pheteia, the twentieth to Hezechiel,

17The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul,

18The three and twentieth to Dalaiau, the four and twentieth to Maaziau.

19These are their courses according to their ministries, to come into the house of the Lord, and according to their manner under the hand of Aaron their father: as the Lord the God of Israel had commanded.

20Now of the rest of the sons of Levi, there was of the sons of Amram, Subael: and of the sons of Subael, Jehedeia.

21Also of the sons of Rohobia the chief Jesias.

22And the son of Isaar Salemoth, and the son of Salemoth Jahath:

23And his son Jeriau the first, Amarias the second, Jahaziel the third, Jecmaan the fourth.

24The son of Oziel, Micha: the son of Micha, Samir.

25The brother of Micha, Jesia: and the son of Jesia, Zacharias.

26The sons of Merari: Moholi and Musi: the son of Oziau: Benno.

27The son also of Merari: Oziau, and Seam, and Zacchur, and Hebri.

28And the son of Moholi: Eleazar, who had no sons.

29And the son of Cis, Jeramael.

30The sons of Musi: Moholi, Eder, and Jerimoth. These are the sons of Levi according to the houses of their families.

31And they also cast lots over against their brethren the sons of Aaron before David the king, and Sadoc, and Ahimelech, and the princes of the priestly and Levitical families, both the elder and the younger. The lot divided all equally.
