1Beniamin generò Baie suo primogenito, Asbel secondo, terzo Ahara,

2Nohaa quarto, e Rapha quinto.

3Furono figliuoli di Baie: Addar, e Gera, e Abiud,

4E anche Abisue, e Naaman, e Ahoe,

5E oltre a questi Gera, e Shephuphan, e Huram.

6Questi sono i figliuoli di Ahod principi delle famiglie degli abitanti di Gabaa, i quali furono trasportati a Manahath.

7Ei furono Naaman, e Achia, e Gera; l'istesso, che li trasportò; ed egli generò Oza, e Ahiud.

8E Saharaim avendo ripudiate le sue mogli Husim, e Bara, ebbe de' figliuoli nel paese di Moab.

9E la sua moglie Hodes gli partorì Jobab, e Sebia, e Mosa, e Molchom;

10E anche Jehus, e Sechia, e Marma. Questi sono i suoi figliuoli capi delle loro famiglie.

11Mehusim generò Abitob, ed Elphaal.

12Figliuoli di Elphaal: Heber, e Misaam, e Samad: questi edificò Ono, e Lod, e i luoghi, che da queste dipendono.

13Baria, e Sama capi delle famiglie abitanti in Aialon: questi scacciarono gli abitanti di Geth;

14E Ahio, e Sesac, e Jerimoth,

15E Zabadia, e Arod, ed Heder,

16E anche Michael, e Jespha, e Joha figliuoli di Baria;

17E Zabadia, e Mosollam, e Hezeci, ed Heber,

18E Jesamari e Jezlia, e Jobab, figliuoli di Elphaal;

19E Jacim, e Zechri, e Zabdi,

20Ed Elioenai, e Selethai, ed Eliei,

21E Adaia, e Baraia, e Samarath, figliuoli di Semei;

22E Jespham, ed Heber, ed Eliei,

23E Abdon, e Zechri, e Hanan,

24E Hanania, ed Elam, e Anathothia,

25E Jephdaia, e Phanuel, figliuoli di Sesac;

26E Samsari, e Sohoria, e Otholia,

27E Jersia, ed Elia, e Zechri, figliuoli di Jeroham.

28Questi sono i primi padri, e capi di famiglie, che abitarono in Gerusalemme.

29In Gabaon poi abitarono Abi-Gabaon (la di cui moglie ebbe nome Maacha).

30E il suo figliuol primogenito Abdon, e Sur, e Cis, e Baal, e Nadab,

31Ed anche Gedor, e Ahio, e Zacher, e Macelloth:

32E Macelloth generò Samaa: e questi abitarono co' loro fratelli in Gerusalemme dirimpetto agli altri loro fratelli.

33Ner poi generò Cis, e Cis generò Saul. E Saul generò Gionatha, e Melchisua, e Abinadab, ed Esbaal.

34Figliuolo di Gionatha fu Meribbaal, e Meribbaal generò Micha.

35Figliuoli di Micha: Phithon, e Melech, e Tharaa, e Ahaz:

36E Ahaz generò Joada: e Joada generò Alamath, e Azmoth, e Zamri: e Zamri generò Mosa,

37E Mosa generò Banaa, di cui fu figliuolo Rapha, da cui nacque Elasa, il quale generò Asel.

38E Asel ebbe sei figli, i nomi de' quali sono questi: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismael, Saria, Obdia, e Hanan: tutti questi figliuoli di Asel.

39I figliuoli poi di Esec suo fratello, furono Ulam primogenito, Jehus secondogenito, Eliphaz terzo.

40E i figliuoli di Ulam furono uomini fortissimi, e di gran valore, abili arcieri, che ebbero molti figliuoli, e nipoti (cioè) fino a cento, e cinquanta. Tutti questi son figliuoli di Beniamin.

6Hi sunt filii Ahod, principes cognationum habitantium in Gabaa, qui translati sunt in Manahath.

7Naaman autem, et Achia, et Gera, ipse transtulit eos, et genuit Osa, et Ahiud.

8Porro Saharaim genuit in regione Moab, postquam dimisit Husim et Bara uxores suas.

9Genuit autem de Hodes uxore sua Jobab, et Sebia, et Mosa, et Molchom,

29In Gabaon autem habitaverunt Abigabaon, et nomen uxoris ejus Maacha:

30filiusque ejus primogenitus Abdon, et Sur, et Cis, et Baal, et Nadab,

31Gedor quoque, et Ahio, et Zacher, et Macelloth:

32et Macelloth genuit Samaa: habitaveruntque ex adverso fratrum suorum in Jerusalem cum fratribus suis.

33Ner autem genuit Cis, et Cis genuit Saul. Porro Saul genuit Jonathan, et Melchisua, et Abinadab, et Esbaal.

34Filius autem Jonathan, Meribbaal: et Meribbaal genuit Micha.

35Filii Micha, Phithon, et Melech, et Tharaa, et Ahaz.

36Et Ahaz genuit Joada, et Joada genuit Alamath, et Azmoth, et Zamri: porro Zamri genuit Mosa,

37et Mosa genuit Banaa, cujus filius fuit Rapha, de quo ortus est Elasa, qui genuit Asel.

38Porro Asel sex filii fuerunt his nominibus: Ezricam, Bocru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, et Hanan: omnes hi filii Asel.

39Filii autem Esec fratris ejus, Ulam primogenitus, et Jehus secundus, et Eliphalet tertius.

40Fueruntque filii Ulam viri robustissimi, et magno robore tendentes arcum: et multos habentes filios ac nepotes, usque ad centum quinquaginta. Omnes hi filii Benjamin.

3And the sons of Bale were Addar, and Gera, and Abiud,

4And Abisue, and Naamar, and Ahoe,

5And Gera, and Sephuphan, and Huram.

6These are the sons of Ahod, heads of families that dwelt in Gabaa, who were removed into Mrtnahsth.

7And Naaman, and Achia, and Gera he removed them, and beget Oza, and Ahiud.

8And Saharim begot in the land of Moab, after he sent away Husim and Bara his wives.

9And he beget of Hodes his wife Jobab, and Sebia, and Mesa, and Molchom,

10And Jehus and Sechia, and Marma. These were his sons heads of their families.

11And Mehusim beget Abitob, and Elphaal.

12And the sons of Elphaal were Heber, and Misaam, and Samad: who built One, and Led, and its daughters.

13And Baria, and Sama were heads of their kindreds that dwelt in Aialon: these drove away the inhabitants of Geth.

24And Hanania, and Elam, and Anathothia.

25And Jephdaia, and Phanuel the sons of Sesac.

26And Samsari, and Sohoria and Otholia,

27And Jersia, and Elia, and Zechri, the sons of Jeroham.

28These were the chief fathers, and heads of their families who dwelt in Jerusalem.

29And at Gabaon dwelt Abigabaon, and the name of his wife was Maacha:

30And his firstborn son Abdon, and Sur, and Cia, and Baal, and Nadab,

31And Gedor, and Ahio, and Zacher, and Macelloth:

32And Macelloth beget Samaa: and they dwelt over against their brethren in Jerusalem with their brethren.

33And Ner beget Cia, and Cia beget Saul. And Saul begot Jonathan and Melchisua, and Abinadab, and Esbaal.

34And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal begot Micha.

35And the sons of Micha were Phithon, and Melech, and Tharaa, and Ahaz.

36And Ahaz beget Joada: and Joada beget Alamath, and Azmoth, and Zamri: and Zamri beget Mesa,

37And Mesa beget Banaa, whose son was Rapha, of whom was born Elasa, who beget Asel.

38And Asel had six sons whose names were Ezricam, Bochru, Ismahel, Saria, Obdia, and Hanan. All these were the sons of Asel.

39And the sons of Esec, his brother, were Ulam the firstborn, and Jehus the second, and Eliphelet the third.

40And the sons of Ulam were most valiant men, and archers of great strength: and they had many sons and grandsons, even to a hundred and fifty. All these were children of Benjamin.
