Salmos 130

1Cântico das subidas. Desde o mais profundo clamo a ti, Senhor;

2Senhor, ouve a minha voz! Estejam atentos os teus ouvidos à voz da minha súplica.

3Se conservares a lembrança dos delitos, ó Senhor, quem, Senhor, poderá subsistir (em tua presença)?

4Porém junto de ti está o perdão dos pecados, para que com reverência sejas servido.

5Espero no Senhor, na sua palavra espera a minha alma; à espera do Senhor está

6a minha alma, mais do que a sentinela (à espera) da aurora. Mais do que a sentinela (à espera) da aurora,

7Israel está à espera do Senhor, porque no Senhor está a misericórdia, e nele é abundante a redenção:

8ele mesmo redimirá Israel de todas as suas iniquidades.

1Canticum graduum. [De profundis clamavi ad te, Domine;

2Domine, exaudi vocem meam. Fiant aures tuæ intendentes in vocem deprecationis meæ.

3Si iniquitates observaveris, Domine, Domine, quis sustinebit?

4Quia apud te propitiatio est; et propter legem tuam sustinui te, Domine. Sustinuit anima mea in verbo ejus:

5speravit anima mea in Domino.

6A custodia matutina usque ad noctem, speret Israël in Domino.

7Quia apud Dominum misericordia, et copiosa apud eum redemptio.

8Et ipse redimet Israël ex omnibus iniquitatibus ejus.]

1Out of the depths I have cried to thee, O Lord:

2Lord, hear my voice. Let thy ears be attentive to the voice of my supplication.

3If thou, O Lord, wilt mark iniquities: Lord, who shall stand it.

4For with thee there is merciful forgiveness: and by reason of thy law, I have waited for thee, O Lord. My soul hath relied on his word:

5My soul hath hoped in the Lord.

6From the morning watch even until night, let Israel hope in the Lord.

7Because with the Lord there is mercy: and with him plentiful redemption.

8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
