Salmos 47

1Ao mestre do coro. Dos filhos de Coré. Salmo.

2Povos, batei todos palmas, aclamai Deus com vozes de regozijo,

3porque o Senhor é excelso e terrível, rei supremo sobre toda a terra.

4Submete os povos a nós, (põe) as nações debaixo dos nossos pés.

5Escolhe para nós a nossa herança, a glória de Jacob seu predilecto.

6Sobe Deus entre _(vozes de)_ júbilo, o Senhor ao som da trombeta.

7Cantai salmos a Deus, cantai; cantai salmos ao nosso rei, cantai.

8Porque Deus é o rei de toda a terra, cantai um hino.

9Deus reina sobre as nações, Deus está sentado sobre o seu santo trono.

10Os príncipes dos povos reuniram-se com o povo do Deus de Abraão. Com efeito, de Deus são os grandes da terra; ele é imensamente excelso.

2[Omnes gentes, plaudite manibus; jubilate Deo in voce exsultationis:

3quoniam Dominus excelsus, terribilis, rex magnus super omnem terram.

4Subjecit populos nobis, et gentes sub pedibus nostris.

5Elegit nobis hæreditatem suam; speciem Jacob quam dilexit.

6Ascendit Deus in jubilo, et Dominus in voce tubæ.

7Psallite Deo nostro, psallite; psallite regi nostro, psallite:

8quoniam rex omnis terræ Deus, psallite sapienter.

9Regnabit Deus super gentes; Deus sedet super sedem sanctam suam.

10Principes populorum congregati sunt cum Deo Abraham, quoniam dii fortes terræ vehementer elevati sunt.]

1Unto the end, for the sons of Core.

2O clap your hands, all ye nations: shout unto God with the voice of Joy,

3For the Lord is high, terrible: a great king over all the earth.

4He hath subdued the people under us; and the nations under our feet.

5He hath chosen for us his inheritance the beauty of Jacob which he hath loved.

6God is ascended with jubilee, and the Lord with the sound of trumpet.

7Sing praises to our God, sing ye: sing praises to our king, sing ye.

8For God is the king of all the earth: sing ye wisely.

9God shall reign over the nations: God sitteth on his holy throne.

10The princes of the people are gathered together, with the God of Abraham: for the strong gods of the earth are exceedingly exalted.
