Salmos 23

1Salmo de David. Yahvé es mi pastor, nada me faltará.

2Él me hace recostar en verdes prados, me conduce a manantiales que restauran,

3Confortando mi alma, guiándome por senderos rectos, para gloria de su Nombre.

4Aunque atraviese un valle de tinieblas, no temeré ningún mal, porque Tú vas conmigo. Tu bastón y tu cayado me infunden aliento.

5Para mí Tú dispones una mesa ante los ojos de mis enemigos. Unges con bálsamo mi cabeza; mi copa rebosa.

6Bondad y misericordia me seguirán todos los días de mi vida; y moraré en la casa de Yahvé por días sin fin.

1Psalmus David. [Dominus regit me, et nihil mihi deerit:

2in loco pascuæ, ibi me collocavit. Super aquam refectionis educavit me;

3animam meam convertit. Deduxit me super semitas justitiæ propter nomen suum.

4Nam etsi ambulavero in medio umbræ mortis, non timebo mala, quoniam tu mecum es. Virga tua, et baculus tuus, ipsa me consolata sunt.

5Parasti in conspectu meo mensam adversus eos qui tribulant me; impinguasti in oleo caput meum: et calix meus inebrians, quam præclarus est !

6Et misericordia tua subsequetur me omnibus diebus vitæ meæ; et ut inhabitem in domo Domini in longitudinem dierum.]

1A psalm for David. The Lord ruleth me: and I shall want nothing.

2He hath set me in a place of pasture. He hath brought me up, on the water of refreshment:

3He hath converted my soul. He hath led me on the paths of justice, for his own name’s sake.

4For though I should walk in the midst of the shadow of death, I will fear no evils, for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff, they have comforted me.

5Thou hast prepared a table before me against them that afflict me. Thou hast anointed my head with oil; and my chalice which inebriateth me, how goodly is it!

6And thy mercy will follow me all the days of my life. And that I may dwell in the house of the Lord unto length of days.
