Salmi 145

1Lauda dello stesso Davidde. Te io esalterò, o Dio mio Re, e benedirò il nome tuo pel secolo di adesso, e pe' secoli de' secoli.

2Ogni giorno io ti benedirò, e loderò il nome tuo pel secolo d'adesso, e pe' secoli de' secoli.

3Grande il Signore, e laudabile oltre modo: e la grandezza di lui non ha termine.

4Le generazioni tutte celebreranno e opere tue, e annunzieranno la tua potenza.

5Parleranno della magnifica gloria della tua santità, e racconteranno le tue meraviglie.

6E diranno come la potenza tua è terribile, e racconteranno la tua grandezza.

7Rammenteranno a piena bocca l'abbondanza di tua soavità, e faran festa di tua giustizia.

8Benigno, e misericordioso egli è il Signore: paziente, e molto misericordioso.

9Il Signore con tutti è benefico, e in tutte le opere di lui han luogo le sue misericordie.

10Dian lode a te, o Signore, tutte le opere tue, e te benedicano i santi tuoi.

11Eglino ridiranno la gloria del tuo regno, e parleranno di tua potenza:

12Per far conoscere a' figliuoli degli uomini la tua potenza, e la gloria magnifica del tuo regno

13Il tuo regno, regno di tutti i secoli, e il tuo principato per tutte quante l'etadi. Fedele il Signore in tutte le sue parole, e santo in tutte le opere sue.

14Il Signore sostenta tutti quel che sian per cadere, e rialza tutti que', che si sono infranti.

15Gli occhi di tutti mirano a te, o Signore, e tu dai loro il nudrimento nel tempo convenevole.

16Apri tu le tue mani, e ogni animale di benedizione ricolmi.

17Giusto il Signore in tutte le sue vie, e santo in tutte le opere sue.

18Il Signore sta dappresso a tutti coloro, che l'invocano: a tutti coloro, che l'invocano con cuor verace.

19Ei farà la volontà di color, che lo temono, ed esaudirà la loro preghiera, e li salverà.

20Il Signore custodisce tutti coloro, che lo amano: e sterminerà tutti i peccatori.

21La mia bocca parlerà delle laudi del Signore: e ogni carne benedica il santo nome di lui pel secol d'adesso, e pe' secoli de' secoli.

1Laudatio ipsi David. [Exaltabo te, Deus meus rex, et benedicam nomini tuo in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.

2Per singulos dies benedicam tibi, et laudabo nomen tuum in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.

3Magnus Dominus, et laudabilis nimis, et magnitudinis ejus non est finis.

4Generatio et generatio laudabit opera tua, et potentiam tuam pronuntiabunt.

5Magnificentiam gloriæ sanctitatis tuæ loquentur, et mirabilia tua narrabunt.

6Et virtutem terribilium tuorum dicent, et magnitudinem tuam narrabunt.

7Memoriam abundantiæ suavitatis tuæ eructabunt, et justitia tua exsultabunt.

8Miserator et misericors Dominus: patiens, et multum misericors.

9Suavis Dominus universis, et miserationes ejus super omnia opera ejus.

10Confiteantur tibi, Domine, omnia opera tua, et sancti tui benedicant tibi.

11Gloriam regni tui dicent, et potentiam tuam loquentur:

12ut notam faciant filiis hominum potentiam tuam, et gloriam magnificentiæ regni tui.

13Regnum tuum regnum omnium sæculorum; et dominatio tua in omni generatione et generationem. Fidelis Dominus in omnibus verbis suis, et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.

14Allevat Dominus omnes qui corruunt, et erigit omnes elisos.

15Oculi omnium in te sperant, Domine, et tu das escam illorum in tempore opportuno.

16Aperis tu manum tuam, et imples omne animal benedictione.

17Justus Dominus in omnibus viis suis, et sanctus in omnibus operibus suis.

18Prope est Dominus omnibus invocantibus eum, omnibus invocantibus eum in veritate.

19Voluntatem timentium se faciet, et deprecationem eorum exaudiet, et salvos faciet eos.

20Custodit Dominus omnes diligentes se, et omnes peccatores disperdet.

21Laudationem Domini loquetur os meum; et benedicat omnis caro nomini sancto ejus in sæculum, et in sæculum sæculi.]

1I will extol thee, O God my king: and I will bless thy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.

2Every day I will bless thee: and I will praise thy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.

3Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised: and of his greatness there is no end.

4Generation and generation shall praise thy works: and they shall declare thy power.

5They shall speak of the magnificence of the glory of thy holiness: and shall tell thy wondrous works.

6And they shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and shall declare thy greatness.

7They shall publish the memory of the abundance of thy sweetness: and shall rejoice in thy justice.

8The Lord is gracious and merciful: patient and plenteous in mercy.

9The Lord is sweet to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

10Let all thy works, O lord, praise thee: and let thy saints bless thee.

11They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom: and shall tell of thy power:

12To make thy might known to the sons of men: and the glory of the magnificence of thy kingdom.

13Thy kingdom is a kingdom of all ages: and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations. The Lord is faithful in all his words: and holy in all his works.

14The Lord lifteth up all that fall: and setteth up all that are cast down.

15The eyes of all hope in thee, O Lord: and thou givest them meat in due season.

16Thou openest thy hand, and fillest with blessing every living creature.

17The Lord is just in all his ways: and holy in all his works.

18The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him: to all that call upon him in truth.

19He will do the will of them that fear him: and he will hear their prayer, and save them.

20The Lord keepeth all them that love him; but all the wicked he will destroy.

21My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless thy holy name for ever; yea, for ever and ever.
